Introducing Lhumos: A Learning Hub for Simulation
Lhumos (Learning HUb for MOdeling and Simulation) is a domain-specific e-learning platform focused on high-performance computing (HPC) and quantum and classical simulations of matter. It offers a rich collection of educational resources, including:
- Video lectures and tutorials
- Practical exercises and code examples
- Recorded seminars and workshops
- Materials on electronic structure methods, molecular dynamics, and code optimization
Lhumos is a collaborative initiative supported by MaX, CECAM, MARVEL, MultiXscale, BioNT, E-CAM, and DOME 4.0, designed to facilitate training and knowledge sharing across academia and industry.
The New Materials Cloud Archive
The webinar will also introduce the fully redesigned Materials Cloud Archive, officially launched on June 23, 2025. Built on the InvenioRDM data management framework developed at CERN, the updated platform offers an enhanced experience for data sharing and discovery. Users will learn about:
- New features and improvements in usability
- Record creation and submission workflows
- The publication process and citation support
- Ensuring long-term data accessibility and FAIR compliance
