Strengthening collaboration: CASTIEL2 – EuroCC2 – EuroCC4SEE “All-Hands Meeting” in Tallinn

The CASTIEL2 – EuroCC2 – EuroCC4SEE “All-Hands Meeting” gathered the NCCs and the CoEs to strengthen collaboration, share strategies, and advance the European HPC and AI ecosystem.


The CASTIEL 2 – EuroCC 2 – EuroCC4SEE “All-Hands Meeting” took place from 23 to 25 September in Tallinn, Estonia. The event gathered representatives from National Competence Centres (NCCs), Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and key stakeholders across Europe’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI landscape.

For MaX CoE, this meeting was a key opportunity to share progress, exchange best practices, and deepen cooperation across the CASTIEL2 ecosystem. It offered a unique platform to present achievements, discuss ongoing challenges, and align future priorities within the growing European HPC community.

The meeting was crucial for the NCCs and the other CoEs as well. It provided a forum to coordinate national strategies, strengthen communication channels, and share knowledge to better support researchers and industry partners. The event was an important space to exchange resources, discuss upcoming developments, and identify opportunities for joint projects. It encouraged cooperation and reinforced the shared vision of advancing HPC, AI, and data-driven innovation in Europe.
