CINECA is a non-profit consortium of several italian institutions, resulting as supercomputing facility, equipped with cutting edge technology. It has a strong relationship with its own stakeholders and collaborates with the communities to enable and develop new applications and tools to better address the challenges of the High-end PC systems.

Tasks in MAX
CINECA is a member of the Quantum ESPRESSO foundation and through its personnel actively contributes to the design and development of the code. In particular, CINECA is responsible for the parallelisation, portability and performance related issues, including the high-level specialistic support.
