The Space Girls, are a group of students attending the junior high school "O. Focherini" of Carpi (Modena|IT) that are competing in the First Lego League.
The competition challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. In this specific case, the students from Carpi designed an antiradiation spacesuit made from polyethylene, with the precious collaboration of the University of Trento (IT) and some local SMEs specialized in textile.
The Space Girls will meet the MaX Director, Prof. Elisa Molinari together with a group of professors and researchers from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Nanoscience Institute of CNR before they compete and gain some points from the HPC experts from MaX.
