5 Reasons Why You Should Apply for Summer School on Advanced Materials and Molecular Modelling with QUANTUM ESPRESSO
The QUANTUM ESPRESSO Foundation and the EU MaX Centre of Excellence for Supercomputing Applications, in association with the Jožef Stefan Institute, are holding a “Summer School on Advanced Materials and Molecular Modelling with QUANTUM ESPRESSO” this coming 16-20 of September 2019. This will be held in Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Register now as the attendance is limited to 40 participants, who will be selected on the basis of their CV and optional recommendation letter(s). The registration fee is 50 EUR. Deadline of registration is on 10th of May 2019.
1. The summer school will introduce students, postdocs, and other researchers to materials and molecular modelling with QUANTUM ESPRESSO.
2. The school will cover basic concepts as well as recent advances and developments, with emphasis on density-functional-theory based methods and high-performance computing.
3. The school will follow a two-decade-long tradition of QUANTUM ESPRESSO training courses that have been held all over the world and is part of an on-going effort of the MaX CoE to widen the scope of its activities to European countries outside the consortium.
4. A chance to win 500 EUR and an award certificate by presenting the research results during the poster session.
