Machine learning modalities for materials science

Held at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, between 13-17 May 2024, the workshop will provide young researchers with a thorough understanding of advanced machine-learning techniques, empowering the community to address significant challenges in materials design and discovery.

Supported by MAX, the workshop gathers introductory lectures, hands-on tutorials, invited talks, industry talks, and panel discussions with a focus on multi-modal, multi-objective, and multi-fidelity machine learning methods in materials science.
