MaX at EuroHPC Summit Week 2022 in Paris
The EuroHPC Summit Week (EHPCSW) 2022 will take place in person from 22nd to 24th of March in Paris, and will gahter the main European HPC stakeholders from technology suppliers and HPC infrastructures to scientific and industrial HPC users in Europe. As in previous years, PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, co-locates its Scientific and Industrial Conference (PRACEdays22) at the EuroHPC Summit Week 2022. Furthermore, the EHPCSW 2022 will provide a great opportunity for the attendees to network.
In this framework MaX will participate to several events organized by EHPCSW in this year programme.
On March 22nd, there will be a Round Table involving all the 15 HPC Centres of Excellence, with the title "HPC Ecosystem & EuroHPC Day: European HPC CoEs: perspectives for a healthy HPC application eco-system and Exascale". Elisa Molinari (MaX Director, CNR and Unimore) will contribute to the first strategic part discussing the need for CoE work across different scales of HPC systems. Andrea Ferretti (MaX co-PI, CNR) will participate in the second technical part talking about complex application workflows in the exascale era.
On March 23rd Molinari will be invited speaker in a session dedicated to "EUMaster4HPC, the first pan-European Master programme in HPC": there will be a presentation of the new HPC Masters programme, a subsequent Q&A and a panel discussion.
Finally, on March 24th MaX will participate in a workshop devoted to "User requirements (notably SMEs needs) in HPC".
Please note that, as this year the participation is in person, there will be the chance to connect online only to the plenary sessions of each day of the Summit Week.
