Organized by ART-ER, the international exhibition Research to Business (R2B) gathered together experts, companies, institutions, national universities, and international centres to discuss new technologies and latest frontiers in research, as well as challenges and opportunities. MaX partner Alice Ruini (Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia) joined the event with a talk on "HPC materials design for energy and sustainable applications": «High-performance computing and statistical physics are fundamental tools in research for the simulation of new materials and the prediction of their characteristics and properties at the atomistic and molecular level. By combining theoretical knowledge and high-performance computing we can achieve impactful results in materials science to tackle challenges in the field of energy sustainability in the near future.»
