One of the most relevant event ever in nanotechnologies is NanoInnovation . Following the success of the previous three editions, this year’s international conference will take place on 11-14 June 2019 at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering, “Sapienza” University in Rome, Italy. The event aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise between several fields of application.
PRACE Summer of HPC is a PRACE outreach and training programme that offers summer placements at top HPC centres across Europe to late-stage undergraduates and/or master students. This will be held starting June 29 until July 6, 2019, at CINECA.

Arm is a semiconductor IP company with around 6000 employees and headquarters in Cambridge, UK. Arm designs scalable, energy efficient-processors and related technologies to deliver the intelligence in applications ranging from sensors to servers, including smart-phones, tablets, enterprise infrastructure and the Internet of Things. By licensing, rather than manufacturing and selling its chip technology, it established a new business model that has redefined the way microprocessors are designed, produced and sold. Partners utilise Arm’s designs to create and manufacture microprocessors, peripherals and SoC solutions playing a pivotal role in the widespread adoption of the Arm architecture. To date, Arm Partners have shipped 100+ billion Arm-based microprocessors.

https://www.ethz.ch/de.html In 1991 Eidgenossische Technische Hochschule Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich) , founded the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) . CSCS partners with Swiss universities and research institutions on all issues related to high-performance computing. Headed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Schulthess, CSCS provides scientists with the computing infrastructure and expertise they need, from cutting-edge supercomputers to a full range of services delivered by an international ninety-person team. CSCS is an autonomous unit of the ETH Z¨urich and it is located in Lugano, in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. CSCS also caters for users from business and industry and works with the world’s leading computing centres and hardware manufacturers to guide and develop the state of the art.
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) was established in 2005 and is the Spanish national supercomputing facility and a hosting member of the PRACE distributed supercomputing infrastructure. The Center houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D in both computer science and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof and currently has over 450 staff members from 44 countries.
CINECA , established in 1969, is a non-profit consortium of 67 Italian Universities, the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), the National Research Council (CNR), and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). It is the national supercomputing facility, one of the largest in Europe; its HPC infrastructure is equipped with cutting-edge technology and it offers highly qualified personnel that cooperate with researchers and customers for the most effective exploitation of the HPC systems, in both the academic and industrial fields. The mission of the CINECA HPC department is to accelerate the scientific discovery by providing high-performance computing resources, data management and storage systems and tools and HPC services and expertise at large, aiming to develop and promote technical and scientific services related to high-performance computing for the Italian and European research community.
