Space Girls visiting MaX Centre of Excellence
Yesterday afternoon the MaX Director, Prof. Elisa Molinari, with a group of professors and researchers from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Nanoscience Institute of CNR, met the Space Girls!
The Space Girls are a group of students attending the junior high school "O. Focherini" of Carpi (Modena|IT) that are competing in the First Lego League. The competition challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. In this specific case, the students from Carpi designed an antiradiation spacesuit made from polyethylene, with the precious collaboration of the University of Trento (IT) and some local SMEs specialized in textile.
